From August 4 to 10, Playa de Santiago is decked out to celebrate San Roque with a week of varied activities: workshops, tournaments, entertainment for young and old, music, tradition and the famous romería to Tapahuga. Here’s a summary of each day’s program, so you don’t miss a thing:
MONDAY AUGUST 4
🖌️ 5pm – Mixed Media creative workshop (registration required on 922 89 51 55).
🃏 7pm – Start of the “Orlando Perdomo & Pedro Hernández” Envite card tournament.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 5
🎾 6pm – Start of the San Roque 2025 pádel tournament (registration at 696 450 449).
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 6
🌿 10am – Environmental workshop “How to deal with energy in our daily lives”.
🏆 Continuation of sports tournaments begun in previous days.
THURSDAY AUGUST 7
🎠 10am – Children’s activities and traditional games.
🎶 9:30pm – Noche en Blanco with concerts by Tecina Social Club, Murguita el Monarca del Laúd y su Son and DJ Antonio Trujillo.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 8
🏐 9am – Start of the San Roque Volley Playa 2025 tournament.
🚤 6:30pm – Boats set sail for Tapahuga in search of San Roque.
⛪ 7:30pm – Mass at the Carmen hermitage followed by a procession.
💃 10:30pm – Grand ball with Orquesta Gomera and Orquesta Atlantic.
SATURDAY AUGUST 9
🏐 9am – Volleyball tournament continues.
🛍️ 10am – Craft market, children’s activities, painting exhibition and pasacalle.
💃 8:30pm – Summer Ludoteca 2025 show, followed by a concert by LuKaaNB + Jowi.
🎉 10:30pm – Ball with Orquesta Gomera and Grupo Tentación.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 10
🚶♂️ 11am – Romería de San Roque: departure from Plaza del Carmen towards Tapahuga.
🎶 2pm-8pm – Folk ball on the beach with Gomera and Amanecer de La Gomera.
