Agulo, February 26, 2025 – Agulo Town Council, through its Youth Department, is organizing two excursions to Tenerife for young people aged 13 to 22, on March 23 and 29. This initiative, financed by municipal funds and the Corresponsables Plan, aims to provide leisure and entertainment experiences for the municipality’s young people, reaffirming the Town Hall’s commitment to this sector of the population.
Excursions include transfers to and from Tenerife aboard the Fred. Olsen Express, including breakfast and dinner, as well as travel from Agulo to the port of San Sebastian and vice versa.
During these days, participants will enjoy activities in two different destinations:
– March 23: Excursion to Canary Jump, Tenerife’s largest trampoline park. Participants will enjoy various play areas, such as interconnected trampolines, free jumping areas, foam pools and balance challenges.
– March 29: Excursion to Forestal Park, a nature adventure park where youngsters can enjoy zip-line circuits, suspension bridges and height games among the trees, encouraging physical activity and contact with the natural environment.
Places are limited and registration will be open from February 27 to March 7.
Agulo’s mayor, Rosa Chinea, stressed the importance of promoting activities for all ages, especially young people: “Young people are the present and future of our municipality, and the town council wants to look after them and spoil them with initiatives that encourage their participation and well-being. These excursions are an opportunity to offer them healthy leisure alternatives and to share group experiences.
With this proposal, Agulo Town Council is continuing its efforts to diversify its range of activities and ensure that all sectors of the population can benefit from opportunities tailored to their interests and needs.
Funding for the development of these activities comes from the Concerted Plan for the Development of Basic Social Services, a plan that aims to provide specific actions for prevention and integration, including neighborhood-based community development activities and the continuation of actions in isolated areas.
