How can we bear the unbearable?
With this question we are faced with the agony of war, the pain of loss and the seemingly paradoxical truth that sadness and happiness are possible at the same time.
The answer emerges when we have the courage to face and feel the full range of emotions. When we understand that there are no negative or positive emotions, but that they are essentially energy in motion. E-energy in motion.
This week you are invited to dance with your fear, your anger, your sadness and your joy. Each of these emotions is contained in a chamber of the heart in the MOVEMENT MEDICINE ® Mandala.
By going there, supported by the elements each chamber is connected to, and by exploring the forms, movements and expressions, we learn about the alchemical process that transforms them into powerful, life-enhancing qualities.
We train and expand our emotional intelligence and find a way to the core of compassion in the center of our heart, where the archetype of the wise old man is at home.
This presence and power to witness all that is without judgment enables us to feel more deeply and empathize with others.
The path to peace, within us, around us and in the world, begins with this work.

Grace is a fully trained professional MOVEMENT MEDICINE ® teacher. Her passion for dance and trust in the power of reconnecting with the elements is inspiring. She loves creating ceremonial spaces and inviting the sacred back into our lives. With the wisdom of an Elder and the fire of a dancing warrior, she makes dance a true journey of personal transformation.
