All you need is water, a cap and good shoes, especially if the sun is shining. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.es\/maps\/place\/Vial+Camino,+39A,+38870+El+Picacho,+Santa+Cruz+de+Tenerife\/@28.098054,-17.3338444,210m\/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0xc6b1d26426c8ca3:0xb72e3677a2994742!8m2!3d28.098054!4d-17.3332007!16s%2Fg%2F11kr8z2j42?entry=ttu&amp;g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDQwMi4xIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">  here&#8217;s the link to the start of the path.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>At the top, you arrive on a large plateau, with a magnificent view over the whole valley and the ocean. It&#8217;s truly impressive.<br \/>\nYou can stop here, take a break and come back down, or continue on to Arure, but this makes the walk longer, so it&#8217;s best to be well \/>\nFrom La Calera, you can follow a small path that runs high above Playa del Ingl\u00e9s. It runs alongside the sea, with superb views of the ocean and cliffs. <\/p>\n<p>On the way, we pass by a natural lake formed by the sea, and then cross the Charco del Cieno area, a protected zone with frequent birdlife and a very calm atmosphere.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s an easy, quiet walk, perfect for settling down, walking a little, and enjoying the atmosphere of Valle Gran Rey in a different way.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"p1\"><\/h1>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close flex column wrapper. It&#8217;s mostly handmade crafts, with local designers selling their jewelry, objects, illustrations or clothes. It&#8217;s a very small market &#8211; in 15 minutes, we&#8217;ve done the trick &#8211; but it&#8217;s well worth the detour.
